Pane Fresco at Fortinos in Ontario

"I went to try the new Bella pizza.i got two pieces sat and ate it right away ,so umami I went and got the slab .The 2 guys working the ovens and cash were excellent ask if I wanted it cut in small pieces and if I wanted a crunchy crust .Fresh out of the oven pizza rocks . People were lined up at 5 pm no wonder this is one of the best places to get great food."

"Great sandwiches, as always. Friendly staff. Bought out their last sesame bagels for the time being. Usually lots on hand. Great food in a chain establishment. I hate saying that but give credit where credit is due."

"Updated review: Another mistake on their part and I had to wait for another pizza to be made, and on Father's Day, when I had pre ordered. I really enjoy their pizza but the customer service needs a little work. Ordered pizza and didn't realize there was a mistake until i got home. Things happen. I called the store and the mistake was rectified within moments. The manager of the pizza pane fresco was kind and fixed it the following time I came in"

"Food is always fresh and delicious, great for catering. Update....ordered a prime rib and sides for Christmas eve dinner and wanted to thank the guys at the carvery and ladies at the cake/pastry counter for their exceptional service. Amongst the chaos of PC card service being down and those waiting in line to pay...the guys kept their composure and were polite and helpful. Cant say enough great things about the service, food and staff. Thank you again for your excellent service."

"Anyone who rates this sub 5 stars isn’t getting the prime rib dinner because it’s legendary. I moved away from this location and drive out of my way at least twice a week to come here and get it. The other fortinos around the city don’t stack up. Give the people in the hot food section here a raise. Well deserved"

"There was a young man working at the station where the meatballs are tonight around 5pm who served me. He was very pleasant and the reason I'm leaving 4 stars. It's refreshing after a long day of work to be treated so respectfully. Thank you. That being said, the portion sizes were much smaller than I thought (mashed potato) and I didn't know until I got home how small because the other food was on top. I was getting food for 3 and there wasn't enough for 2 people. I would've paid for more had I known. Not a big deal. After getting meatballs, potatoes and veggies I went to get pasta salad. I wanted to get some wings, pasta salad and pizza so there would be snacks/lunch for my teenage boys but that gentlemen had no interest in serving me more than the pasta salad. He just slid it across the counter and walked away, never to return, no eye contact, no chance to make another request. I could've just left without paying too but that's not the person I am. It was also frustrating to be the only person waiting to pay and waiting for probably 3 solid minutes. No one was in front of me, it was just me. The guy who took my payment seemed frustrated that I wanted to pay. The food looked so good, I wish I had - had better service and I would've bought a lot more. I will visit the pleasant folks selling meatballs and sides and be more specific about the amount I would like. Not sure I'll visit the other counter though. I would hate to trouble them into doing what they're being paid to do- sell food. Glad I didn't go there first, I would've left after. I've never had cooked food from fortinos, hence I don't know what any of the counters are called but it came highly recommended by my coworkers. Maybe I'll find out which location they went to and go there next time."

"Mother's day 2021. Was really looking forward to prime rib with my 92 yr old mom. She loves your prime rib. Went in sat to see if i could pre-order and pay but was told there would be lots. Of course when I went Sunday at 430 there wasn't any prime rib left. Hadnt been any since about 3 pm. A little disappointed but I guess that is a testament to how good the dinner is. I ordered 3 turkey dinners that turned out to be delicious also. Although would have liked stuffing and cranberries with dinner. Thank you for putting on a great mother's day special. We will be back for prime rib."
